Spring Rise Playground for Dogs is a fully enclosed 1 acre paddock where your dogs can run free and play. The field is available for Private Hire for events such as agility or Dog/Puppy training classes.  Hire charges Monday to Friday are £10 per hour; Saturday and Sunday, £12 per hour. 
There is parking available for 5 small cars.
Further Services 
Live-in pet sitting service – looking after your animals in their own home, ensuring both pets and home are safe and secure.
Dog walking – The maximum number of dogs on group walks is 6 and all dogs are introduced to each other prior to their walk. 
Holiday Cottage – Spring Rise accommodation is located in the sleepy Hamlet of Etchinghill and offers one dog cottage capable of hosting 2 large dogs or 4 small dogs.
 
I also sell homemade dog treats made with all natural ingredients.
Introducing Spring Rise Playground for Dogs
Over recent years, there has been a plethora of articles in the media regarding dog attacks on farm livestock such as sheep. Unfortunately, it appears these incidents are on the increase and the vast majority of these attacks are preventable!
In the 1970’s John Noakes delivered a poignant message to the Nation “Keep dogs on leads” and nearly 50 years later the National Sheep Association and others, are still delivering the same message.  Whilst these organisations are dedicated to eliminating sheep worrying, individuals also have a legal and ethical obligation to control their dogs around Sheep. For example, regulations include:  The Countryside Code, The Countryside and Right of Way Act (CROW) 2000 and The Dogs (Protection of Livestock) Act 1953.  Ethical obligations (as documented in the 5 freedoms) include minimising the potential for animal pain, suffering and distress.
Considering these responsibilities as well as being a former Shepherd, an owner of several Border collie dogs, Susannah from Spring Rise, is appalled the scale dog attack problem! As a result, Susannah has taken preventative action and embarked upon a totally self funded animal welfare project – Spring Rise Playground for Dogs.
Spring Rise Playground for Dogs is a fully enclosed 1 acre paddock where your dogs can run free and play. The field is available for Private Hire for events such as agility or Dog/Puppy training classes.  Bookings are also taken for hourly playtime slots @ £10/per dog, rental: ½ day (9am – 12am) @ £150, full day (13:00 – 16:00) @ £300. There is parking available for 5 small cars.
