PAWS AND PLAY PADDOCK
A fully enclosed half an acre dog activity paddock in the peaceful village of Dunham On Trent. The fencing is currently 4ft 5 high (going to raise it to 6ft feb/march 2024) with netting all the way around and dug into the ground.There are tyres, tunnels, log piles, platforms, a dog sand pit in the field for the dogs to use and seating for the people. There is a field shelter overlooking the whole field and a dog scent/herb garden with enrichment activities/equipment and toys. There are mature trees which provide good shade from the sun and younger trees who are starting to add a great shade along the south fence line. a paddling pool is provided in warm weather too. Water is provided along with poo bags and bin, first aid kit and there is an onsite toilet.
There are no livestock in the fields around us, no footpaths or roads next to the paddock, the parking is off road, private and gated so you can shut yourself in if you want to.it is a very peaceful and relaxing space.
The parking is right next to the field however, I do allow driving into the paddock itself during the dry months.

We are open 7 days a week and can accommodate up to 8 dogs in the field at a time.               People we have had use our field has been very diverse, we have had puppy parties, training teams for flyball, dogs with various reactivity or recall issues, bitches in season who cannot go off lead in public spaces, old dogs and dogs after surgery needing undisturbed quiet exercise, rescue dogs who have yet to be off lead with their new owners and they are not sure how they will act, local rescue centre uses us to meet new owners and their dogs for introductions on neutral ground, people making stops on a long journey with their dogs to break up the travelling…. All sorts!
